Itchiku Kubota Art Museum information
In an attractive Gaudí-influenced building, this excellent museum exhibits the kimono art of Itchiku Kubota. A small number of lavishly dyed kimonos from his life's work of continuous landscapes are displayed at any one time, in a grand hall of cypress. You might see Mt Fuji in the wintertime or the cherry blossoms of spring spread across oversized kimonos. Take the Retro-bus to Kubota Itchiku Bijyutukan Mae stop.
