A deliciously convenient landmark/meeting place at Nishi-Azabu Crossing, Hobson’s is originally from Santa Barbara, California, but has been here since 1985. Familiar ice-cream and frozen-yoghurt flavours still tempt, alongside Japanese tastes like yuzu (citron), sweet potato and mikan (mandarin orange). Try a ‘blend-in’, where fruit, cookies and such (¥50 each) are added using what looks like a giant drill.
