Lonely Planet review for Ageha

This gigantic waterside club rivals any you’d find in LA or Ibiza. Mostly international DJs appear here, with Japanese DJs filling out the mix. Counterbalancing the thumping dance floors are lounge spaces and a little pool area. Free buses run to the club every half-hour from the east side of Shibuya Station on Roppongi-dōri; bring photo ID.

    Tokyo clubbing at its best

    markw85 recommends this,

Legendary among the foreigner community in Tokyo, Ageha is one of the biggest clubs in Asia. And it is enormous - with four warehouse sized dancefloors. This is a clubbing experience like no other. Dancers perform on frighteningly high poles, balloons are released from the ceiling towards the end of the night, and as you would expect it gets all the big name DJs - house and techno are the staples.

We were there for the 'Summer Pool Party', but be warned, the pool is only there to be observed - people jumping in were kicked out!

Free shuttle buses run all night to and from the club from Shibuya, so the distance from the city isn't a problem. If you want to experience Tokyo clubbing at it's best, this is the place for you!
