Lonely Planet review
We love this innovative, boutique property, opened in 2011. Formerly a traditional inn, new owners sought to recreate a space which combined Japanese and European design elements and have done just that. Large western-style rooms with tatami floors feature fresh colours, soft downy beds, bright bathrooms and a full kitchen stocked with breakfast provisions. There's an on-site onsen bath, kids' room, ski storage and plenty of high technology.
