Lonely Planet review

Just southwest of Osaka-jō, the Osaka Museum of History is housed in a sail-shaped building adjoining the NHK Broadcast Center. The museum is built where the Naniwa Palace (c 650) once stood, and you can see archaeological remains on the basement floor. There are also great views of Osaka-jō from the upper floors. There aren't full English explanations for everything so grab an audio guide. From the station exit, go right (east) about 300 metres.
