The Mitsui Garden Hotel Osaka is a nice, clean business hotel located conveniently between Kitahama and Yodoyabashi Station (pretty close to the centre of Osaka). With reasonable rates, some Internet access and a convenience store next door, this is a handy place to stay when you've got business in Osaka.
Convenience is the operative word at the Mitsui Garden Hotel. The lobby is rather dark, but it is clean and quiet. There is a PC in the lobby that can be used for free. Floors above the 12th floor have rooms with Internet access. The rooms are big and fairly clean - not gorgeous but serviceable. The employees are pleasant and some of them speak a little English. They don't get many foreigners here, but they're welcoming nonetheless. There is a convenience store connected to the hotel, which is good for those late-night snacks.
