An unbeatable location, the Hotel New Hankyū is right next to Hankyū Umeda Station. It is a frequent and consistent choice for many locals who pop into Osaka on a one-night stint.
Busy, crowded bars and cafes are testimony to one of the New Hankyū's best assets: its food. Windows in rooms do open, but you must ask staff to do it for you. Smoking and nonsmoking rooms are separated by floor, but the 18 Japanese-style rooms have the cleanest air. In places like the New Hankyū, tatami rooms are often overlooked by modernity-craving Japanese who want all the 'mod cons', so the Japanese-style rooms can often be completely unused. High-speed Internet access is available in all rooms.
