Lonely Planet review for Kasagi-ya

At Kasagi-ya, on Sannen-zaka near Kiyomizu-dera, you can enjoy a nice cup of matcha and a variety of sweets. This funky old wooden shop has atmosphere to boot and a friendly staff – which makes it worth the wait if there’s a queue. Highly recommended. It’s hard to spot – you may have to ask one of the local shop owners.

    Impossible to find

    scottlerch does not recommend this,

    I searched every corner for this place using the GPS feature on the Lonely Planet iPhone app but couldn't find it. There was one closed place that may have been it but my limited ability to read hiragana or any kanji prevented me for knowing for sure. Guess I should have asked another shop owner as suggested...
