Karako is our favourite rāmen (noodles in a meat broth with meat and vegetables) restaurant in Kyoto. While it’s not much on atmosphere, the rāmen here is excellent – the soup is thick and rich and the chashū (pork slices) melt in your mouth. We recommend that you ask for the kotteri (thick soup) rāmen . Look for the lantern outside.
