Hotel Nikko Princess Kyoto
Lonely Planet review
Nikko’s entry into the Kyoto market is a welcome addition and maintains the chain’s high standards. Centrally located only a short walk from most Downtown attractions, this smart, understated hotel has excellent service and good on-site restaurants. The standard rooms here are on the small side, as is common in Japan, but they are clean and well outfitted. All in all, this is a great choice if you want to be downtown. Take exit 5 as you leave Shijō Station.
