Lonely Planet review
A few minutes south of the station, opposite the JR Sapporo Railway Hospital, this seemingly modern hotel lords it over the street like a concrete monolith, though the interior is fully decked out in a somewhat out-of-place but surprisingly amenable Austrian theme. While the opulent lobby and ornate rooms are Continental inspired, the various dining rooms and onsen are Japanese through and through.
Our independent authors have visited Hotel Monterey Edelhof Sapporo and selected this as one of our recommended hotels in Sapporo.
