Lonely Planet review
Hit hard by Hurricane Dean, this place atop the shoreline cliffs, about 2km south of the Hwy A4 turnoff for Reach Falls, has bounced back admirably. An excellent backpacker and ecotourist haven, it holds four appealing hillside log-and-bamboo cottages sharing two bathrooms, with hammocks on the veranda and three showers. There is a bar and small restaurant set in a lush garden. A private beach, which has been replanted after the hurricane, receives year-round visits from manatees.
