Lonely Planet review

A stairway descends alongside a cliff overhang, past flowering gardens overflowing with bougainvillea, and down to a private sunning deck, perfect for a spontaneous jump in the sea. A small gallery of contemporary Jamaican art complements the main building nicely. All rooms are modestly furnished; the deluxe ones are worth the extra expense for their large private balconies. There’s also a breezy bar and the Almond Tree, a fine restaurant.

Our independent authors have visited Hibiscus Lodge Hotel and selected this as one of our recommended hotels in Ocho Rios.
