Time ‘N Place
Lonely Planet review
This delightful spot has three quaint all-hardwood cottages (each housing up to three people) for rent right on World Beach. The cottages have louvered windows, hot water, coffee makers and radios. The rustic beach bar and restaurant is a truly great place to hang out – it was a setting in the movie How Stella Got Her Groove Back and has been the backdrop for many a photo shoot. Owner Tony knows about a secret local cavern – he calls it the ‘Bottomless Blue Therapeutic Cave’- where you can swim beneath stalagmites by candlelight. Make friends with him and he just might take you there.
