Lonely Planet review
Bright Caribbean colors lure hotel window-shoppers into one of the Hip Strip's better accommodation options. A baby grand piano furnishes the front verandah (good sign!) and there are plenty of local Jamaican motifs dotted around to remind you this is the real deal. Rooms don't quite match the salubrious common areas, but they are clean, so who cares?
Our independent authors have visited Altamont West Hotel and selected this as one of our recommended hotels in Montego Bay.
