    Negative experience

    We went to the Al Vesio Penasa for breakfast on 8th March 2010 - our final morning in Venice. Locals seemed to like the place so we decided to join them.
    It all seemed OK until we came to pay the bill. The waitress pretended to ring up our order then asked for an exorbitant amount of money for breakfast for two, about double the price it should have been. When I asked for the bill she pretended not to understand though she had served us using English. Her colleague was aware of what was happening.
    We had spent 4 days in Venice. This was our only negative experience. I would definitely not recommend this cafe as the staff are dishonest. There are three more cafes nearby in the same street. Try them.
