Lonely Planet review
Breathe easy along the Giudecca Canal in this new hassle-free hostel with unexpected perks, including laundry service, communal kitchen, wi-fi and, best of all: no curfew. The four-bed women's dorm has canal views; the other dorm is mixed gender, and there's one private room. The hostel is down the block from a supermarket, canalfront cafes and gelaterie , plus handy vaporetto stops.
Our independent authors have visited The Silk Road and selected this as one of our recommended guesthouses in Sestiere di Dorsoduro.

All rooms are well lit and ventilated and guests can enjoy a comfortable dinning room with free breakfast. Our bathrooms are modern, and all guests can enjoy the use of the kitchen.
