Lonely Planet review
Sleep like the dead in the comfort of this grand 15th-century mansion, presiding over a campo that was once the site of public executions. Generous-sized rooms of varying degrees of brightness are furnished in a reproduction of classic Venetian style, with cream lacquered wardrobes and beds with boldly striped bedspreads. The real luxury is the classic Venetian salone (great room) garlanded with 18th-century stucco, where breakfast is served and cushy chairs make for rainy-day cosiness.
Our independent authors have visited Hotel La Residenza and selected this as one of our recommended hotels in Sestiere di Castello.
