Lonely Planet review
Hotels would have you believe Venetians live a twee existence in fussy brocade-upholstered pink salons, but this B&B in a traditional family home has comfortable beds, handsome antique wardrobes, quirky wall niches and every modern convenience, especially in the bathrooms. The high-ceilinged upstairs suite accommodates a third bed (fee applies). Handy to train and vaporetto , but blissfully off the tourist track.
Our independent authors have visited Campiello Zen and selected this as one of our recommended apartments in Sestiere di San Polo & Santa Croce (Santa Crose).
