A Dominican monastery founded in 1394, it’s certainly worth a look-see for the stunning examples of wooden Madonna sculptures. However, the lead archaeologist, Carlo Zoccoli, has offered to give our readers a private tour under the church, where an archaeological treasure trove awaits.
