Myself and a friend will be traveling between lake braies and trieste in a few days time and looking for a stopover roughly half way between the two to spend a night. Any suggestions?
Just looking for somewhere to rest our heads for the night with some nice views and decent food.
We'll be driving.
Any advice appreciated
Planning on going to Venice on the 27th of May for a couple of days. Unsure of what area we should stay in for cheap accomodation but that is also close to public transport to go see the typical tourist part of Venice (which im unsure which part that is)
Any help on which area to stay will be greatly appreciated
I was looking for places to see near the sanctuary of Madonna della Corona and came across a video of some guys canyoning these amazing waterfalls somewhere near there. Can anyone tell me where they might be and how to get there? It is such an amazingly beautiful place!
I wrote the author of the video, but thought I would ask here as well.
Thanks so much!
Here is the video:
Hi, I'm looking to go to Puglia for 10 days with my boyfriend at end June. We are mid twenties, looking for relaxing holiday, near to a beautiful beach and access to a few towns/ villages with restaurants by car. Ideally we want to stay in one place for a week at least so we can really relax. We are happy to hire a car and take day trips to explore different areas but want lots of days sunbathing at a pretty beach with cafes nearby. Good food is also a biggy.
Where would you recommend to stay…
Just bought the flight ticket for next week to Naples and I don't have much time to do the homework. My real main problem is I'm disabled - not on a wheelchair but I cannot walk long distances, especially steep hills. I like beautiful scenery and plan to stay 3 nights in Almafi and 1 night in Naples. Which side of the island to stay to have a beautiful beach without the steep hill and ideally w. restaurants, banks.
The plan is visiting Almafi coast and swim (where?) and Pompei…
Hi everyone, can you please help with planning a 15 night itinerary in Italy this September?
We would ideally like to see (not necessarily in this order) - Sorrento > Positano > Rome > Tuscany > Cinque Terre > Lake Como > Milan
Flying into Naples and flying out of Milan.
We have 3 children under 8yo.
Thanks for your help!
My husband and I are looking to book a trip to Venice in June/July, but, whilst we'd very much like to enjoy time in Venice and soak up all the culture, given the time of year, we'd like to visit a beach or two too, if possible. We're thinking about a 7 or so day trip in total, so perhaps a few days in Venice and then travel to another area to enjoy some relaxation on a beach. I've done some research and it seems like Lido is close by - but I'm wondering whether there are other, less…
I'm traveling alone around couple of cities in Europe from June 3 to June19. I want to meet someone to show me around and new people. Suggestions are always welcome.
Hi there, we are spending 5 days at Lake Como and 5 at Lake Maggiore later this year and wondered if a car was needed?
We can arrange transfers from and to the hotels but would be keen to know if a car was required while at each base, or could we rely on public transport to get around.
Many thanks in advance!
Is there anyone in Italy (center of country) interested in having a couple house sit for you for the month of September? Or we could house swap. We live in the Northwest corner of CT. Midway between NYC and Boston.
Very close to the Berkshires in Mass. 4 hours to Cape Cod, Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket.
