Rome captures all that is magical in the world. Traveling in Rome is like being in a strange fairy tale - complete with bedbugs. Part of the beauty of the ancient world to me lies in the use of water and fountains. The water gushing from this statue of a lion in Rome touched me in a way I can't explain but that I think the photo captures. The starkness of the background only serves to enhance that feeling.

Managed to go to quite a number of cities around Italy, and like one of the owner of the Bed and Breakfast we stayed in said "There are three Italy - the Northern Italy, the Southern Italy and the middle one".
