Hello! We are taking a delayed honeymoon during the second half of April 2017 and will be spending just under two weeks in Switzerland and Tuscany. We fly into Switzerland and plan to rent a car for most of our trip. We know that trains are likely more efficient, however we'd like to have the flexibility of exploring smaller towns and other sites along the way, hence the car. The majority of our trip will be spent exploring Tuscany and northern Italy, and we will eventually make our way back up…

Hello there,

My wife and I are going to be flying into Bergamo in the middle of next month, before flying out again 4 days later. We know very little of the area, any suggestions on where we should base ourselves and what people would recommend seeing? It is very much a last minute trip with little reading up by either of us!

We would ideally like to enjoy a bit of nature with some cultural sights chucked in for good measure. Worthy of note, my wife is getting fairly pregnant (approx…

Hello! and thanks to those who reply!

We (a couple) fly into Palermo for a week late October - weather is iffy so I'm keen to base ourselves in say 3 different places where we can hit a nice beach for sun & swimming if it's nice, or see some sights if it's not. They must be versatile! Suggestions welcomed. I'm guessing the Aegadi islands are out?? We'll likely get a car unless convinced otherwise

Ciao!

Hi, we are thinking of traveling to Rome in January (probably mid-January to first week of February). We know that it will be cool. Cool we don't mind as long as it's sunny and not too rainy. Will want to visit Rome and maybe travel south. Trip's focus will be visit the city combined with the countryside do some hiking.

We were in Puglia/Sicily this past May so we are not interested in further south. Any thoughts on coming to Rome and that part of Italy at that time of year?

Hi there

I'm looking for a walking around Rome tour (full day) - advising points of interests, but not including museums as i'll do the museums independently. I'm just posting this as the tours that i've found on the web include entrance and tours of the main attractions. That bit i want to do and take my time over....so I'm just looking for a familiarisation tour of the city itself to start with.

Can anyone recommend please?

Many thanks, Jon

hi

We are looking at getting a ferry from Venice to rovinj June 2017. No car just passengers. Is this crossing smooth? My daughter suffers from seasickness and not sure if we should risk this crossings or make our way from Venice to Croatia another way?

Also, need to get from Dubrovnik to Naples (Sorrento Amalfi Coast etc). I can't seem to find any direct flights? Are there? What would be the quickest way there?

Also, we are trying to meet extended family for a week in split and visit…

Hi,
I will be visiting Agrigento during my travelling around Sicily and i am not sure from which city will be most easily accesible by public transport and closer to go? I heard from Palermo there is a bus that takes around 2 hours...., maybe this is the most practical base to reach Agrigento by bus?
Is it worth staying a night to get to the coast...beach?
Thanks a lot
