Lonely Planet review
Up a short flight of stairs from the port (follow the signs), Da Francesco is as close as you'll get to a value-for-money eatery on Panarea. It's a laid-back trattoria with an outdoor terrace, fine sea views over to Stromboli, and a straightforward menu of pastas and fish dishes. Try the restaurant speciality: spaghetti alla disgraziata (with tomatoes, aubergines, chilli, capers, olives and ricotta). Simple rooms are also available (single €30 to €50, double €50 to €150).
