Introducing Northern Sardinia

Northern Sardinia gets busy during summer and at weekends, especially with the ease of access to Alghero from the UK and Germany via some of the low-cost airlines. Sassari is a little less crowded and has some great places to eat, whilst the seaside resorts of Santa Teresa di Gallura and Palau are unspoilt and less busy than the nearby Costa Smeralda.
