Unfortunately located on a busy road junction, this is Cagliari’s most famous cafe. Sip cocktails on the terrace or inside amid the polished wood and brass.

    A great place to start the morning

    saraharding recommends this,

    Antico Caffe is an elegant slice of the old world, plus they provide newspapers :) I love to sit outside on the porch - which after over 100 years is slightly below street level (the cafe really is "antico") - and have a cappuccino while I look over the newspaper. There are better places to get pasta dishes, but if you're craving a salad, this place has the best selection I've seen in Cagliari.
