Rome’s first minimalist church, this startling white Richard Meier creation is a classic of contemporary design. Built out of concrete, stucco, travertine and 976 sq m of glass, it is flanked on one side by three graduated concrete shells, while on the other side a four-storey atrium connects the church with a community centre.
