The affectionately named ‘dirty one’ is sparklingly clean, and growing smarter by the year, with tables inside and out. It also has some of Rome’s best panini. Pay at the register for a pizza bianca, then ask for it to be stuffed with your belly’s desire at the bar.

    Beautiful local experience

    We visited Lo Zozzone for lunch after the Pantheon, it was an incredible experience, buzzing with energy, full of locals & waitresses yelling above the noise. Perfect place for a Panini.
    We ordered No.1 & 2 from the menu (No.2 was my favourite) both with smoked fresh mozzarella.
    The coffee is also very good.
    Friendly staff & surprisingly coordinated amongst the chaotic buzz.
    Would definitely go back!!!!

    Good pizzas with all you want inside! I've found a simila brand new but french place near to via veneto, the name is Madame baguette. Very good panini also there. Or the very good forno of Campo dei Fiori.

    Good for: food, Budget Travellers, Solo Travellers
