Lonely Planet review
In a workaday area sandwiched between Rome's brutalist (on the outside) Opera House and StazioneTermini, the friendly Columbia sports a polished look with beamed or exposed stone ceilings. The white-walled rooms are bright and surprisingly full of character – some have beautiful Murano crystal chandeliers. Breakfast is served on the pretty roof terrace in summer.
Our independent authors have visited Hotel Columbia and selected this as one of our recommended hotels in Monti, Esquilino & San Lorenzo.
