Lonely Planet review
Occupying a stately 19th-century palazzo , this elegant hotel boasts one of Rome's most envied locations, overlooking the Pantheon. But there's more to it than its position. Its rooms are attractive, featuring brown tones and brass fittings, stylised gold wallpaper, padded bedsteads and kettles, and service is courteous and attentive. Noise is often a problem in this part of Rome, but double glazing ensures that rooms remain quiet.
To enjoy views from your room, go for a superior room, otherwise head up to the panoramic roof terrace.
Our independent authors have visited Albergo del Senato and selected this as one of our recommended hotels in Centro Storico.
