Northern Italy’s main international airport, Malpensa is located 50km northwest of Milan.
It consists of two terminals, which are linked by a free shuttle bus and the Malpensa Express.
Terminal 1 receives the majority of scheduled international and domestic flights, while Terminal 2 is dedicated to low-cost carriers such as EasyJet.
Services include car rental, banks, a VAT refund office and free wi-fi with the ViaMilano app.
The more convenient, Linate Airport, 7km east of the city centre, handles the majority of domestic and a handful of European flights.
Orio al Serio Airport Located 45km northeast of Milan, and 4km southeast of Bergamo. It receives flights run by a number of budget European carriers, including Ryanair.
