Lonely Planet review for Civico Acquario

You’ll be transfixed by the aquatic art nouveau facade, but kids will race ahead to see Lombardy’s fish on display at Europe’s third-oldest aquarium. Turns out mountain streams make for rather predictable silver on silver fish, but that only makes the red anemones more splashy and the balletic boarfish real prima donnas.

    Nice but not worth it

    baxgirl830 does not recommend this,

    It's pleasant to walk around the Civico Acquario and it's pretty from the outside and has some nice gardens. However, the whole aquarium takes about twenty minutes to see. Which since it's free is worth the admission price but might not be worth your time. Especially if you're only in the city for a few days.
