The riches of Milan’s Cineteca (cinematheque, or film library) are screened downstairs, while upstairs there’s a programme of exhibitions from stills to video art. The original cinema was redesigned by architect Gae Aulenti, better known for her work on Cadorna station and Paris’ Musée d’Orsay.
