One of Milan's oldest and most charming hotels, it's a favourite with those visiting Milan on a mission to max out their credit cards at the nearby shopping of the Quadrilatero d'Oro.
When your hotel has an entrance right on Via della Spiga where the beautiful boutiques (and breathtaking window displays!) of Dolce & Gabbana and Prada reside, you know you're in shopping heaven. Now fully renovated, this old charmer is an even more attractive proposition. With its welcoming, professional staff, its grand foyer filled with fresh flowers and its Café Baglioni perfect for a post-shopping cocktail, this is a handsome hotel in which to hang out. The classic rooms are furnished with exquisite antiques, all rooms have lovely marble bathrooms and the Deco suites have some divine chairs. It's quite eclectic but it works. However, if you love the location but aren't fussed by old-school ambience, there are three junior suites that are decorated in modern Milano style.
