Espa aromatherapy treatments target pressure points and chakras; whether you’re a believer or not, there’s no doubt they will relax and rejuvenate a frazzled traveller. Make sure to amortise the sky-high prices with a dip in the gorgeous gold-mosaic lined pool or a lounge in the ethereal steam room.

Culti’s ethno-sacred aesthetic lives large at this seriously sensual spa. The touted total well being, radiance and renewed internal resources don’t come cheap (prices start at €80 for a basic manicure) but this is no corner nail bar. Stone, wood and water are highlighted in the decor and treatments take their cues from the same elements, as well as utilising flowers, salts and mud.
