   Once the liquid landing strip for seaplanes, this artificial lake is now a summer playground. Concerts regularly take place here, including indie-leaning festivals, and there’s swimming and water sports including wakeboarding and kite surfing. Check the website for details and a weekly calendar of events. Like its fellow little ‘waterfront’, Navigli, mosquitoes come to play, too - make sure you have good insect repellent. To get to Idroscalo, take bus 73 from San Babila to Linate Airport, then take the free shuttle.
