Terme Stufe di Nerone information
Your body will thank you after a trip to this verdant thermal-spa complex. Built on the site of an ancient Roman prototype (spot the remnants in the bar), its steamy grottos, mineral baths and pools are a soothing antidote to Naples' muscle-tensing energy. Day passes must be booked via the website, where you can also book beauty treatments and massages.
Book treatments at least two days in advance. Swimming caps are obligatory for use of the pools and can be purchased (along with a towel) for €8. Flip-flops are also available for €3. From Lucrino train station, walk 500m southwest along Via Miliscola before turning right into Via Stufe di Nerone. The entrance is 200m ahead. If you have your own wheels, on-site parking costs €2.50.
