We are leaving Siena today and need to return a car to Pisa tomorrow. We are looking for a recommendation for a place to stay along the way. For context, we loved sleepy Montepulciano and we love wine and history. Any suggestions of towns or accommodations that you prefer?
I need your help. I need to go from Catania's cruise port to Taormina next month.
In 2013, we tried to take the bus, we had to walk from the cruise terminal to the bus station. However, by the time we got there, the bus is not available until almost midday. By that time, it is too late since I had to get back to the cruise by 16:00 hrs. It seemed like the bus did not follow their posted schedule.
Thank you very much.
we r going to spend a week end in sansepolcro
we will stay at an agriturismo but we d like to ask u if there is anything we definitely can't miss when there
thanks in advance

I am travelling Italy in January with two of my children 18 and 7. We have one night to spend on the way from Rome to Florence. I am unsure of whether to stay in Perugia or Assisi. I have been to both places but 20 years ago. Would it make sense to overnight or just get to Florence and then back track for a day trip. I just want ease of travel with my children.
Does anyone have any idea of whether it would be too much to travel from Rome, say to Perugia, overnight there then first thing…
On Wednesday 7th of October, we (2 persons) are arriving at Ciampino airport, landing at 12:50 mid day.
How do we get to the center of Rome?
Heard there were some buses but they don't run during lunch hours (12-4pm). We'll have one suitcase.
Also interested in how we can get back as we are leaving at 6.35 am. How early do we have to be at the airport? When is the airport open?
Hi, my 19 year old daughter was just accepted into a study abroad art program in Italy this spring. She is required to meet her class in Venice on February 11 & will be traveling & studying with them until late April, but they are able to arrive early on their own. Since she HAS to be in Venice just 2 days later, we thought that arriving early for the tail end of Carnevale would be an amazing opportunity for a once in a lifetime experience while she was there.
We are looking at flights from…

I am planning a trip to Italy in late December this year. We will be taking (I think) an overnight train from Germany on Christmas night (December 25th). It is me, my husband (we did a 16 month trip backpacking around the world plus a bunch of other travel - pretty confident travelers) and my cousin (who has never been anywhere outside the US except Mexico). Husband and I have both been to Florence and Rome before - we want to see it again with more mature eyes, take time to experience it…
