    The best aperitivo in Genoa

    undertheground recommends this,

The first place to introduce the now well-know aperitivo time was Mentelocale. Some years ago, it started offering a buffet of food at the end of the afternoon. Now, that is kind of thing is widely disseminated by all Genoa, it is still the best place to do this. You just need to ask for a drink, grab a dish and then fill it was you want, how many times you wish. The number of different types of food is one of the things that makes this the best aperitivo. Moreover, it's not just a question of diversity. It's also a question of quality. If you place together these two things then it's explained with I call it the best one.

It's not the cheapest one nor the more expensive one. Although, for the quality and variety of food you can't complain that you are paying too much. You have potatoes, rice, couscous, prosciutto, meat, fish, seafood and so on. The list of wines it's good and with the quality of the Italian wines it's not so hard to choose one that will fit for what you want to eat.

The atmosphere is very nice considering it's inside a palace. Rustic decoration and adequate lightning allied to nice music make you wanting to spend all night there.
