Lonely Planet review

This is a far-from-bland business-oriented place: there's a crisp Upper East Side aesthetic in the rooms, a guest-only sauna and Turkish bath, and a reading room. James Joyce was once a resident and there are small homages to him throughout the hotel, including a dedicated suite and contemporary art works.

Our independent authors have visited Hotel Victoria and selected this as one of our recommended hotels in Trieste.
