With a bas-relief marble cow adorning its counter, this quirky, turn-of-the-20th-century milk shop has, since the 1980s, pioneered vegetarian and organic cooking, from its veggies and dairy products to the namesake caffè latte. The soups are thick and bursting with flavour, and the scones with fresh cream are worthy of a Cotswald teashop.
