Locals keep popping in all day long for a nip or two from a limited but carefully selected list of daily pourings of Chianti at this quintessential Florentine enoteca (wine bar). Its carved wooden cabinetry, no-nonsense service and mini-panini (bread rolls or sandwiches) round out the happy picture.

    A Wonderful Experience

    This was one of the eating highlights while visiting Florence. The atmosphere is not fancy, but the energy of the place is happening. If you can't get in right away, wait, it is worth it! Inexpensive sandwiches, friendly people, a true taste of Italy, what more can you ask for. Ask for any specials they may have. When we were there they happened to get in some fresh fish, which they made into a sandwich along with beans and herbs. Then of course you have to wash this down with some vino! Hangout, have some biscotti and dessert wine before you leave. We returned to have lunch again and again.
