Cathedral
This 12th-century cathedral (Duomo di Piacenza in Italian) harmoniously blends pretty pink marble, mellow sandstone and red brick. It's one of the best examples of a Romanesque cathedral in northern Italy. The interior has a nave and two aisles, with 25 soaring pillars, and beautiful frescoes, including some by Guercino in the dome.
