Lonely Planet review

Containing an impressive collection of mostly Italian art and sculpture from the 18th century onwards, this gallery hit the headlines in 1997 when one of its most important works, Portrait of a Woman by Gustav Klimt, was stolen by a cat burglar who gained access through a skylight during renovations. The painting has never been recovered.
