Bellini sets the scene for lurve, with its candlelit terrace, cobbled streetscape and vintage cummerbund waiters. Get acquainted with just-caught fish or tuck into obscenely copious bowls of pasta - the linguine ai frutti di mare (pasta with fresh seafood) is heroic.

    ristorante Bellini was a sad disappointment

    Flying in the face of the friendly ambience and delicious food at every other establishment we visited in Napoli; ristorante Bellini was a sad disappointment. The dishes ranged from very disappointing to mediocre, and the service was cold at best, despite a common language (italian). That having been said, the numerous and outstanding restaurants all over Napoli provide plenty of options where service and satisfying food are in abundance!

    FRESH FISH AND NICE LOCATION

    I ate twice in this restaurant / pizzeria, situated in a peculiar street (Via San Sebastiano) opposite to "Porta Alba", where you can buy all kind of musical instruments. I remember a fabulous salad of octopus and delicious "spaghetti alle vongole" (spaghetti with clams sauté in a pan with olive oil, garlic and parsley). Good also pastries and babà. Prices are good. I never tried pizza.......but I'll try it next time !!!
