Itinerary

Day 1 Arrive in Castellammare di Stabia at the foot of Mount Vesuvius
Make your own way to Castellammare di Stabia - an ancient spa town at the foot of Vesuvius, overlooking the Bay of Naples (allow about 1hr from Naples). Alternatively a private group transfer can be arranged at an additional cost. From 6:00pm you can board the gulet and check into your cabin. The Gulet is moored at "Marina di Stabia", a private port located 2km north of the centre of Castellammare di Stabia. At 7:00pm there will be a welcome meeting (including a complimentary cocktail) with your guide who will brief you on the itinerary for the week. Dinner and overnight on board the gulet in the port of Marina di Stabia.
Day 2 Explore Pompeii, overnight in the harbour of Sorrento
In the morning there will be a transfer by private minibus to Pompeii, the largest open-air archaeological site in the world, to visit this authentic Roman city buried by the eruption of Vesuvius in 79AD, almost 2000 years ago. You can explore at your own pace and will have free time for lunch. In the afternoon, return to Castellammare and cruise to the hilltop town of Sorrento, with beautiful terraces overlooking the area. Dinner and overnight on board the gulet in roadstead at Sorrento.
Day 3 Free morning in Sorrento, transfer and walk towards Punta Campanella (3hrs)
The morning is free to explore Sorrento at your own leisure. Transfer by public bus to the small town of Termini to begin walking to the protected area of Punta Campanella at the tip of the peninsula with views to the island of Capri. Dinner and overnight on board the gulet in roadstead at Marina del Cantone, a small town boasting beautiful beaches and unspoilt waters, inside the Marine Reserve of Punta Campanella. ascent +400m, descent -400m
Day 4 Cruise to Amalfi and walk to the hilltop town of Ravello (3hrs)
Today the gulet follows the Costa delle Sirene (literally "Coast of Mermaids") towards Amalfi. Amalfi is a small village nestled between Mount Lattari and the sea and is characterised by the famous cathedral dominating the old town. In the afternoon, a walking excursion takes you into the Valle dei Mulini ("Valley of the Mills") and the town of Ravello (altitude 350m). There will be free time to visit Ravello with optional visits to the Villas of Cimbrone and Rufolo. Continue to the small village of Atrani before returning to Amalfi. Dinner and overnight on board the gulet in the harbour of Amalfi. ascent +350m, descent -350m
Day 5 Walk to Fiordo di Furore and cruise the coast to the Emerald Grotto (3hrs)
Today is a beautiful day discovering the colourful Fiordo di Furore. After a transfer by public bus, set off from the foot of the plains of Agerola (650m), descending a steep slope that leads to a beautiful bay wedged between the cliffs and the sea, to the tiny village of Furore. In the afternoon, cruise along the coastline towards the Emerald Cave ("Grotta dello Smeraldo"), which takes its name from the stunning colours created by the water reflecting the light that filters through the rocks. There will be free time to visit Amalfi before dinner and overnight on board the gulet in roadstead at Amalfi. descent -650m
Day 6 Walk the famous "Walk of the Gods" from Agerola to Positano (4hrs)
