    ConWinum Wine Bar

Part wine bar, part art gallery, ConWinum is a snazzy, softly lit place with tangerine walls and swinging lounge music. Designer-clad Italians drop in for live jazz on Friday and Saturday nights (summer only) and a daily wine tasting.

    Music on the Rocks

This is one of the town’s few genuine nightspots and one of the best clubs on the coast. Music on the Rocks is dramatically carved into the tower at the eastern end of Spiaggia Grande. Join the flirty good-looking crowd and some of region’s top DJs spinning mainstream house and reliable disco.

    La Zagara

This is the quintessential Italian terrace, draped with foliage and flowers, with an offshoot bar and superb pasticceria (pastry shop), elderly red-vested waiters, Neapolitan background music and some great Positano poseur-watching potential. Enjoy sumptuous creamy cakes, as well as savoury snacks. There’s live music during the summer.

  4. La Risacca

This boisterous Atrani bar is about as lively as it gets. Music pumps out over square-side tables as tanned students sip on garish cocktails and bottled beer. Save yourself a euro or two by stocking up during happy hour (between 6pm and 8pm). Pizza and bruschetta are available to ward off hunger pangs.
