Palazzo dell'Annunziata information
Lonely Planet review
The most impressive of the palazzi, founded in 1320 but rebuilt many times over, sits above a 1st-century-BC Roman domus (villa). The building has a harmonious blend of Gothic and Renaissance architecture. Inside, the Museo Archeologico in situ showcases relics and remains of the Roman domus. The Museo Civico , also found here, has a small collection of Roman mosaics and Renaissance sculptures.
