Lonely Planet review for Bukowski
Completely enclosed with sound-proof walls and without a sign on the outside, you could walk past this place a dozen times and never know that there is a rockin' party behind the closed door. Smoky and dimly lit, this local bar is a dress-down place with a vociferous following and long list of drinks. Predominantly '80s music.

Apparently 18 is the new 14, and Bukowski bar is in love with the new notion. "sorry, not old enough".
We have money! We plan to drink! We're dressed nicely and there is room!
These scum do not even know the true Bukowski. The cartoon of the bar's inspiration shows a skinny faced old man, with joy in his face. They are fools! They know not the real Bukowski!
Bukowski would have felt sick walking into the hipster-filled Tel Aviv bar, infested by clowns and such. Bukowski would never have turned down a patron with the desire to drink, Bukowski would spit on the souls that had contaminated and put shame to his name. Each and every one of them!
This bar seemingly represents everything Charles hating in this world, whilst at the same time attempts to represent him. Doesn't work.
