Lonely Planet review
Run by the friendly Walid, this long-running hostel is just inside the old city, steps from the cheap eats of Salah ad-Din St. In an Ottoman-era building, the 12 rooms (12 more are planned) are simply furnished and a little dated but are clean and come with mini fridges. The basic kitchen is out on a balcony. Breakfast costs 25NIS.
Our independent authors have visited Akko Gate Hostel and selected this as one of our recommended hostels in Akko (Acre).
